Love is the meaning of life. I learned this in adolescence but didn’t grasp it until I was much older. It is the reason we put others before ourselves, and why it feels better to give than to receive. Love allows us to experience joy, hope, kindness, hospitality, gratitude, and self-control. Without it, life is chaos; I know from experience. It is why I want to share some of my life stories, some of my influences, and some of what makes me tick. Not because I or my stories are perfect and happy, but because they are real and what led me into the arms of perfect love. More than anything else, I want to help change the world through what changed me and create places of healing and hope. My story is a broken one, but it led me to an unbroken hallelujah and a radical transformation that changed everything. I believe it’s why I’m still here today and able to tell my story, so that others can come to find the same joy, peace, and redemption that brought me through it all.
